The Buffalo Bills don't have a whole lot of experience, which makes their offseason addition of wide receiver Cole Beasley all the more important.

Beasley is already making a big impact on Bills quarterback Josh Allen, with Allen saying that the veteran will be a big help to Buffalo's offense going into this coming season.

“It’s big, especially for the type of offense that we run,” said Allen, according to Tim Graham of The Athletic. “A good example, New England’s had Julian Edelman for a long time. Tom (Brady) trusts him, knows where he’s going to be, knows his body language. It’s no secret that we run a similar offense to the Patriots, and we want to utilize our slot guys, too, to make somebody miss and get up field.”

Allen added that Beasley has certainly been talking a lot since he has arrived.

“Cole talks my ear off, and it’s awesome to be able to bounce ideas of each other,” said Allen. “Things that he likes and doesn’t, things that I like and don’t. He’s that shifty slot, a safety valve, if you will.”

Beasley spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys and is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he hauled in 65 receptions for 672 yards and three touchdowns.

The 30-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Southern Methodist, went undrafted but eventually landed with the Cowboys and has been getting steady playing time since 2012 as he proceeded to carve out a very important role as a sure-handed slot receiver within Dallas' offense.

Now, Beasley will get to show his stuff in a new environment for the first time in his NFL tenure.
