Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum wasted no time reaching out to a seemingly frustrated Joel Embiid, after the Philadelphia 76ers big man found out he had been criticized by an alleged collection of burner accounts from Sixers team president Bryan Colangelo.

Embiid's angry post made McCollum throw one of the first logs in the fire, asking Embiid if he was no longer happy in Philadelphia after all these findings.

The report by The Ringer showed a plethora of tweets that criticized, denied, or justified opinions toward young players like Embiid, Jahlil Okafor, and Nerlens Noel — making this a really bad look on a franchise that seemed to be in the upswing after reaching the second round of the playoffs after many postseason absences.

Embiid had gone on a liking spree, hearting almost every comment related to him that was posted by these five burner accounts.

It's tough to blame McCollum for trying to recruit a center of Embiid's caliber, after the Blazers fell flat during the postseason, being swept out of contention by the New Orleans Pelicans.

Portland hasn't had the best of luck luring free agents, and the likes of Damian Lillard and McCollum will pounce on every opportunity to send a subtle message of intent.
