CJ McCollum of the Portland Trail Blazers posted a series of tweets to blast Deputy Stacy Talbert, after the officer posted a video of her ranting on how terrified she was because she assumed that her McDonald's drive-thru order was tampered with. In the Facebook live video that has gone viral over the past few days, Talbert was in tears on how upset and petrified she felt that attendants at the fast-food chain deliberately stalled on giving her her McMuffin meal.

In her video rant, Talbert said that it the very first time she got this nervous waiting for her food at McDonald's.

“I don't know what's going with people nowadays, but please just give us break.” the officer exclaimed in her video. “I've been in this for 15 years and I've never ever had such anxiety about waiting for McDonald's drive-thru food. So just have a heart and if you see an officer just tell them ‘thank you'. Because I don't hear ‘thank you' enough anymore.”

CJ McCollum wasn't having it. Amid all the controversy and uproar against police brutality, you'd kind of understand where the Blazers star is coming from. Obviously not all cops are bad and officers are humans too and they deserve the utmost respect but come on, this is probably the worst possible time to post a three-minute sob story on how you think your food was unsafe just because you didn't see it being prepared.

Though a lot of people in the Twitterverse weren't delighted with McCollum's tweets, the Blazers guard did get a lot of nod from a lot of personalities like New York Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman which he also responded too:

Yup, welcome to 2020.
