The Portland Trail Blazers managed to dodge a bullet with CJ McCollum's knee injury. Unfortunately, his absence from their upcoming games has left a fan in a precarious situation.
McCollum will miss this week's games before being re-examined for a knee strain. Although one fan will not be able to see him play in person, he did find a way to make it up to him.

It is always nice to see players reaching out to fans. The grind of an NBA season can also be as unpredictable as it is grueling at times. While the fan may not be able to see CJ McCollum play, it is safe to say that the star guard will make it up to them.
Judging by the tweet, it is safe to say that the fan is rather well-versed in all things regarding the Blazers. McCollum has been one of the most durable players in the league thus far in his career. This should go a long way in helping his recovery.
While McCollum's expected absence is unfortunate, any true fan would agree that his health is a primary concern moving forward. Although Portland is competing for favorable seeding in the playoffs, it will not mean much if one of their star players is not healthy.
Regardless, every opponent will surely be a handful in the juggernaut Western Conference. The Blazers will need McCollum to be at 100 percent if they hope to make a deep run in the postseason.
