Despite Damian Lillard making it known that he's dedicated to the Portland Trail Blazers, trade rumors continue to surround the 6-time All-Star. However, Dame sent a very clear message on his future with the Blazers in the last song of his new album, Different On Levels The Lord Allowed. Take a listen:

“Growing up in Oakland, Kobe was like a superhero since our team never made the playoffs we shifted our focus to being Lakers fans, and Kobe coming out of high school, being young, becoming a superstar for one franchise, you know, I really admired that, which is why I'm taking the route I'm taking with the Blazers.”

What else could Dame say to make it known that he plans to stay in Portland? The writing is on the wall. While the Blazers didn't do a great job in Free Agency when it came to adding more talent around him, they did lock up Norman Powell for the long run and Lillard still has his running mate CJ McCollum, who also voiced on Friday that his superstar teammate is committed to winning in Portland.

Lillard's album is already receiving lots of love across social media, with the hit “We The Ones” also gaining traction for the 31-year-old's loyalty to the Blazers with some very touching lyrics.

Dame really is more than just a basketball player.
