Portland Trail Blazers swingman Moe Harkless will play in Game 3 against the Denver Nuggets on Friday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Harkless suffered a right ankle injury in Game 2 in Denver. He underwent an MRI:

The Blazers and Nuggets are tied at 1-1. Portland needs to win Games 3 and 4 to keep home-court advantage.

Harkless is averaging 8.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in the 2019 playoffs. He's shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 27.3 percent from beyond the arc and 61.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The Blazers are 5-2 in the playoffs so far. Star point guard Damian Lillard recently said Portland is a complete team when Harkless and Al-Farouq Aminu are knocking down 3-pointers to complement him and shooting guard C.J. McCollum.

The Blazers are trying to advance to the Western Conference Finals, a place they haven't been to since 2000. The team is going to go as far as Lillard can take them, but McCollum, Harkless and Aminu have to play at a high-level as well so the offensive burden is solely on Lillard's shoulders.

The atmosphere figures to be electric in Game 3 at the Moda Center. We'll see if the Blazers are able to take a 2-1 series lead, or if the Nuggets will reclaim home-court advantage.
