It's the season of love, and for Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth Curry and his girlfriend Callie Rivers, it is the perfect time to be engaged.

The couple made their engagement official when Curry proposed to Rivers during a Valentine's dinner with their families. Callie, son of Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers and brother of Houston Rockets guard Austin, had this to say on Twitter.

Looks like this is going to be an added motivation for Seth, who will be competing in the 3-point shootout on Saturday.

Both Rivers and Curry's families have always been sports enthusiasts, and that is expected to continue now that the couple's marriage is imminent.

Callie played professional volleyball in Puerto Rico. His father played 13 seasons in the NBA, and aside from Austin, her two younger brothers are also professional basketball players. Jeremiah is currently playing for the Maine Red Claws while Spencer once suited up for UC Irvine.

As for Seth, his brother Steph plays for the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Their sister (Snydel) and mother (Sonya) also played professional volleyball.

This will be a perfect week for Seth if he will be able to win tomorrow's 3-point contest.

Nevertheless, congratulations to the Curry and Rivers families!
