Denver Broncos defensive end Bradley Chubb came to Von Miller's defense on Wednesday afternoon, calling out Pro Football Focus for releasing a video the 2020 season being the “beginning of the end” for Miller's career.

The video begins with a voiceover citing Miller's low PFF grade last year (via Jon Heath of USA Today):

“Is this the beginning of the end for Von Miller?” one of PFF’s show hosts asked before going on to point out that Miller had a low PFF grade last season. “He’s now 31 years old, that is a massive decline in terms of overall PFF grade. Still generated pressure, but not quality pressure the way he used to in the past.”

Chubb had a rather trite response on Twitter. He quoted the video and merely said, “Y'all are losers..”

Miller might not be the one-man wrecking machine he once was during his All-Pro years in 2015 and 2016, but he is still an elite pass rusher.

The former Super Bowl MVP posted eight sacks and 20 quarterback hits in 15 games this past season, reaching the Pro Bowl for the sixth consecutive season.

Chubb is protecting his vet, though he is probably the one with reasons to feel disappointed.

The Broncos selected the former NC State star with the fifth overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, but Chubb played in just four games before suffering a torn ACL against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4. Interestingly enough, Chubb's last game was also his finest, as he tallied a sack and a forced fumble to go along with seven combined tackles.

It is reasonable to suggest Miller might look like the “Von Doom” of old if Chubb is healthy on the other side of the line. If that is indeed the case, the Broncos will create havoc for opposing quarterbacks next season.
