Denver Broncos have fallen to an 0-3 start to the 2019 NFL season following their loss to the Green Bay Packers. Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders did not mince words when it came to his thoughts on the current situation.

There are a number of factors that have attributed to their winless start to the year. According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic, Sanders is admittedly frustrated with their performance thus far:

“Times are rough around here. .. Living in a world of suck.”

Sanders' comments are certainly understandable. Although the Broncos had ushered in some significant changes this offseason, there were still high hopes for a potential resurgence. Unfortunately, there have been very few positives to take away from their 0-3 start.

The offense has struggled mightily with quarterback Joe Flacco under center. Sanders figured to resume his role as the go-to option in the passing game after making a healthy recovery from multiple severe injuries this offseason. However, that was certainly not the case against Green Bay after hauling in a mere two receptions for 10 yards in the loss.

Sanders has certainly tried to do his part to help kick things up a notch heading into Week 3. He had been coming off stellar back-to-back performances to start the season against the Oakland Raiders and Chicago Bears. Unfortunately, it appears the connection between him and Flacco still needs time to develop.

Of course, the offense has not had much help from the defense.

Although there had initially been high expectations for this group, they have now gone the first three weeks of the season without registering a sack.
