There are a number of deserving players that did not receive invitations to participate in this year's NFL Combine, and Denver Broncos running back Phillip Lindsay took to social media to remind those players that their journey is still far from over.

The combine is one of the more notable stages for layers to boost their value in the 2019 NFL Draft. Lindsay shared some advice to those that were not invited with a post on Twitter:

If you didn’t get an invite to the combine, don’t sweat it. Use it as motivation. Remember you only need one opportunity and that’s your PRO DAY. 20 RBs got drafted, but how many do you hear about?

There is certainly plenty of truth to Lindsay's post. He is a testament to the fact that the whole draft process is hardly indicative of how good a player really is. It is clear that he is hoping that many of them can follow in his footsteps.

Lindsay enjoyed a decorated college career before going undrafted last year. Although he ultimately signed with his hometown Broncos, he was still buried deep in the depth chart throughout the offseason.

However, he took full advantage of his minimal opportunities by quickly becoming the starter in Denver.

Lindsay ultimately finished the 2018 campaign by rushing for 1,278 yards from scrimmage and 10 total touchdowns in his rookie season. He also became the first undrafted offensive rookie to earn a trip to the Pro Bowl.

This year's draft prospects would be wise to heed Lindsay's advice by going all out at their pro day.
