Denver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon got another touchdown to seal the deal on Thursday against the New York Jets.

Coming off the two-minute warning, Broncos quarterback Brett Rypien set up in the I formation from the 43-yard line, handing it off to Gordon. After initially not finding a hole in the offensive line, Gordon bounced it outside and found room on the edge. A nifty stutter step made the last defender miss.

This was Gordon's second touchdown of the game, which gave the Broncos a two-score lead. It represented the final tally of the game, as Denver beat the Jets, 37-28. Gordon's first touchdown of the night came in the second quarter on a goal line play.

Gordon is in his first season with the Broncos after signing a two-year, $16 million deal in free agency. He spent his first five seasons in the league with the Chargers.

The Broncos had a strong performance against the Jets in spite of the plethora of injuries on the team, which only increased tonight. The Broncos will next travel to Foxborough to face the New England Patriots.
