Emmanuel Sanders and the Denver Broncos have gotten off to a bit of a slow start this season. Through the first six weeks of the season, the Broncos currently hold a 2-4 record. John Elway certainly isn't happy with the way the team has performed so far, especially on the defensive side of the football.

As Clutch Points previously noted, Elway said that the defense has gotten very weak over the last few years. That is a challenge that Von Miller and company need to take personally.

Denver fans did not have much patience on Sunday afternoon with quarterback Case Keenum. They let him hear plenty of boos throughout the course of the game, even though the Broncos only lost to the only undefeated team left in the NFL by a score of 23-20.

Sanders was not happy with the way the fans treated Keenum and called them out in a press conference shared by Ryan Koenigsberg of BSN Denver.

“They expect wins, and I would expect wins, too. I understand what they're going through. I don't respect what they do in the stadium in terms of booing and stuff like that. Especially in the Case situation. I mean, Case is a quarterback who comes in every single day and busts his butt. He goes out and plays, and they're supposed to provide momentum for us, give us that “let's go” factor. We don't want to hear the boos.”

It will be interesting to see how the fans in Denver respond to this message from Sanders. He is a well respected and well-liked player, but fans do not respond well to losing.

Coming back from a 2-4 record is not going to be easy for the Broncos, but it is possible. They will need their fans on their side to do it. Mile High Stadium has always been a tough place to play, but booing the home team usually will not get the job done.

Expect to see the fans come back strong in their support of the team on November 4 when the team returns home from two games on the road to face the Houston Texans.
