The Cleveland Browns are on the verge of getting some firepower back in the lineup for their big matchup against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, designating wide receiver Jarvis Landry to return from injured reserve.

This doesn't mean Landry is definitely going to play on Sunday, but he's back at practice and could potentially be in the lineup. The Browns have until Saturday afternoon to make a decision on Landry's status for Week 6.

Landry has missed the last three games after going on injured reserve with a sprained MCL suffered against the Houston Texans in Week 2. Prior to these three missed games, the veteran wideout had never missed a game due to injury in his career. He played in all 16 games in each of the first six seasons of his career and missed one game last season due to COVID-19.

The Browns are 3-2 on the season after a heartbreaking loss to the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend. Cleveland has one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL, though that's thanks to a league-best rushing game. Baker Mayfield has been just okay at quarterback, so he'll be thrilled to have Landry back in the fold, whenever that is.
