Odell Beckham Jr. is widely considered one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and now that he is a member of the Cleveland Browns, Baker Mayfield is seeing that first hand.

Thus far, Mayfield is simply amazed at what he is seeing.

“He can do things I’ve never seen before,” Mayfield said, according to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated. “The pure talent is unreal. As we grow chemistry together, it can be pretty special. He makes my job easy. I’m happy to be able to be at camp with him and get better every day.”

Talent has certainly never been a question with Beckham.

The 26-year-old, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the New York Giants with the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft and immediately took the league by storm, hauling in 91 receptions for 1,305 yards and 11 touchdowns in just 12 games, making the Pro Bowl as a result.

Beckham would proceed to make the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons.

However, over his last couple of years, Beckham has played in just 16 games combined due to various injuries, and his off-the-field behavior and controversial comments through the media became more and more of a distraction for the Giants.

As a result, New York traded Beckham to Cleveland back in March, landing a first-round draft pick, a third-rounder and young safety Jabrill Peppers in return.

But one thing is for sure: if Beckham can ever get his head on straight (and stay on the field), he could be one of the greatest players this game has ever seen.
