The expectations are sky high for the Cleveland Browns going into the 2019 NFL season. It appears they now have betting odds to back it up.
The Browns have gone all in for a deep postseason run this season. According to BetOnline.ag, they are projected to make the playoffs for the first time since 2002:

The fact that Cleveland is among the current favorites to make the playoffs should certainly come as no surprise. They enjoyed a bit of a resurgence in 2018 and the front office has since done what they can to ensure they build on it moving forward. They appear to be the safe bet in an AFC North Division that has undergone some substantial changes this offseason.
The Browns managed to shore up a solid, young core of talent through the draft in recent years that has finally started to come into their own. Of course, it is the emergence of quarterback Baker Mayfield that helped kickstart the movement in Cleveland. The front office's star-studded acquisitions of wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry have now cemented that notion.
Although teams usually do their best to downplay the hype, Cleveland has fully embraced them. Head coach Freddie Kitchens has not been shy about all the expectations surrounding this team moving forward. All the talk should make them one of the more intriguing teams to watch next season. It will be interesting to see whether or not they can ultimately follow through on the hype.
