Cleveland Browns safety Damarious Randall has missed the last two games with what was said to be a concussion, but Randall is not confirming nor denying that that was the case.

“No comment,’’ Randall said, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. “I was just placed in concussion protocol on Friday before the Jets game. I just went in protocol then.’’

Randall did not provide many details, only saying that he had “symptoms”:

“The symptoms was concussion protocol, I guess,’’ Randall said. “I was placed in protocol, and that’s really all I’ve got to say about it.’’

Randall added that he has only had one concussion in his life, likely referring to the one he suffered during the 2017 preseason that sidelined him for nearly two weeks.

Whether Randall had a concussion or not, he returned to practice on Wednesday and seems like he will be good to go when the Browns take on the Baltimore Ravens in a pivotal AFC North showdown this weekend.

The 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at Arizona State, was originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round (30th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

He spent the first three seasons of his career with the Packers, playing cornerback.

But following the 2017 campaign, Green Bay traded Randall to Cleveland for quarterback DeShone Kizer, who spent one year with the Packers before being cut last month.

Randall moved to safety during his first year with the Browns, posting 85 tackles and four interceptions.
