There is a lot of excitment in The Land, ahead of the 2021 NFL season. The expectation for the Cleveland Browns is high, even by the franchise's standards. The Browns are actually one of the most talented and complete teams in the league this season. Their defense was a problem a year ago, but with Myles Garrett, there will always be promise on the Browns' stop unit.

And as if Garrett needs any more motivation to wreak havoc on the field this year, he seems to have discovered a new source of gas to fuel his burning desire to take quarterbacks to the ground.

See, Garrett has been ranked 16th overall on the NFL's Top 100 list, and he's pretty miffed by it.

Garrett and the Browns made the playoffs in the 2020 NFL season, the team's first time in the postseason since 2002, by finishing the regular-season play with an 11-5 record.  And they did that despite being just 22nd in scoring defense and 21st in total defense. Garrett will be the anchor of Cleveland's defense again. Since entering the league in 2017, he has posted three seasons of double-digit sacks. Overall, he has 42.5 sacks in 51 games for the Browns.

The NFL has not revealed the top 10 players on the list, but there's one defensive player, at least, that's ahead of Garrett in the rankings and that's Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who's at No. 13.
