Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been working hard at rehabbing a torn ACL that he suffered midway through the 2020 campaign. Nine months later, it seems as OBJ is basically ready to get back on the gridiron.

Per The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Browns star received some good news:

Beckham Jr tore his knee ligament in Week 7 of last season but the Browns offense took off once he went on the shelf. Nevertheless, he's expected to be a key part of Cleveland once he in fact plays again. Passing his physical is a huge step in the right direction, but it does remain to be seen just how active he will be in the early stages of training camp.

An ACL injury is obviously serious, but considering he's already inching closer to full strength is terrific. Other players like Saquon Barkley and Ronnie Stanley suffered similar injuries and are nowhere near Beckham.

Spirits are high within the Brown camp after making their first postseason appearance since 2002 last year. Although they did end up losing to the mighty Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round, the team was able to upset the Pittsburgh Steelers previously.

Hopefully, OBJ can return with a vengeance and make an immediate impact.
