Just as the Cleveland Browns secondary looked to be getting healthy it looks like they are being handed another blow with safety Damarious Randall unsure if he will be able to play in the team's next game against the New England Patriots.

Randall suffered a leg injury late in last Sunday's loss against the Seattle Seahawks and hasn't practiced yet this week.

The Browns are expected to get Denzel Ward and Greedy Williams for the game but there is no guarantee that they will be the starters according to secondary coach Joe Whitt.

“If someone says that when they come back that they will get right back into the same roles that they had, there are no guarantees in anything. They might. They might not. We are going to put the men out there each week that give us the best chance to win that game, and then the next week, we will do that for the next week. I do not get caught up in the names. I just get caught up in we need to win football games. That is what we are here for.”

Even though Whitt said there is no guarantee it's hard to imagine the Browns would not put Ward and Williams back in the starting lineup because the secondary has really struggled with them out.

Hopefully, Ward, Williams, and Randall will all be able to go against the Patriots because every healthy player they have will be key against a very good pass offense.
