Add yet another piece from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl winning squad that is set to return for 2021. Antonio Brown has agreed to a one-year deal to remain with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers as they attempt to repeat as champions.

First reported by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, he notes the contract is for one-year and that $3.1 million is guaranteed in the deal to the Buccaneers wide receiver.

Pelissero noted that there was one other team heavily interested in inking Antonio Brown to a deal, but stated the Buccaneers always wanted to bring Brown back and Brown was adamant about wanting to stay in Tampa Bay.

It continues a theme this offseason for the Buccaneers as they appear to be “running it back,” with all 22 starters from the Super Bowl winning team in February set to be back under contract for 2021 as well. So far that has included new deals for guys like Rob Gronkowski, Leonard Fournette, Ndamukong Suh and even a franchise tag that was signed by Chris Godwin earlier in the offseason.

Clearly it was good enough to get the job done last year, as Tampa Bay steamrolled through the NFC playoffs with road wins over the Washington Football Team, the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers before they ultimately de-throned Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl.

Antonio Brown's signing is just the latest and he returns to a wide receiver room for the Buccaneers that already has Mike Evans and the aforementioned Godwin in place. There will be plenty of weapons to go around once again for Tom Brady as the Buccaneers look to repeat. Brady had made his case clear in wanting Antonio Brown back in a Buccaneers uniform and now that wish has come true.
