The Tampa Bay Buccaneers would love to maintain their roster after winning the Super Bowl, and they'll have their top tight end back. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Rob Gronkowski is running it back with Tom Brady and Co. for at least one more season.

Gronkowski, who subtly hinted at possibly testing free agency, will be returning to the Buccaneers on a one-year deal that is worth $10 million, which is a slight raise from what he made in 2020. The veteran tight end decided to come out of retirement after sitting out the 2019 season to join forces with Tom Brady.

In his first year in Tampa Bay, Gronkowski showed that he still has some gas left in the tank. The future Hall of Famer recorded 45 receptions for 623 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during the course of the regular season.

Come the playoffs, Rob Gronkowski kicked it into another gear as he did year-after-year when he was with the New England Patriots. To help the Buccaneers secure their first Super Bowl since 2002, Gronkowski hauled in six passes from Brady for 67 yards and two touchdowns.

When teams proceed to win the Super Bowl, they do everything in their power to retain their impending free agents. Besides Gronkowski, the Buccaneers have been able to keep Chris Godwin, Lavonte David, Shaqil Barrett, along with inking Tom Brady to a cap-saving extension.

Seeing that Gronkowski has already retired in his career, this could be the eccentric tight end's final year in the NFL. Nevertheless, he will be able to spend another season with Brady as he hopes to help Tampa Bay defend their title as Super Bowl champions.
