The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are Super Bowl Champions, and Leonard Fournette joined elite company after a huge performance on Sunday as the Bucs beat the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 at Raymond James Stadium.

Fournette was dominant in the playoffs and earned the nickname “Playoff Lenny” with how he played down the stretch. He was released from the Jacksonville Jaguars before the season began and found a home in Tampa Bay, and the Buccaneers sure used him to their benefit.

He finished the game on Sunday with 16 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown, including a couple of huge runs down the stretch.

As for the Bucs, Tom Brady won his 7th Super Bowl Championship and first as a member of Tampa Bay in his first season with the team, as ex-Patriots teammate Rob Gronkowski had two touchdowns in the first half.

After an up and down tenure in Jacksonville, and being heralded as one of the best running backs coming out of college, he is set to hit free agency and should have plenty of suitors, especially after the performance he had over the past coupe of weeks with everything on the line.

Where Playoff Lenny will be taking carries next season remains to be seen, but for now, he is a Super Bowl Champion and will have his name in the record books with a couple of legendary rushers.
