Ever since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were able to land Tom Brady in free agency, there have been a ton of glowing remarks for the veteran signal-caller within the building. During a conversation with Mark Inabinett of AL.com, Carlton Davis was very complimentary of Brady.

“I’m very excited to have Tom Brady, AKA the GOAT, with us,” Davis said. “His game managing is on a whole other level. He knows how to really play the game, how to control it. His work speaks for itself. I don’t even have to brag on him. We all know what we’re getting, and, obviously, I’m excited to work with him making our jobs easier on the other end and making everybody’s life better with what he brings to the table.”

Davis, who is entering his third year with the Buccaneers, has played his first two seasons with Jameis Winston as the Tampa Bay's quarterback. While Winston showed flashes of brilliance, there were some head-scratching moments as well.

On the other hand, with the addition of Brady, the Buccaneers know exactly what they're getting at quarterback. The former second-round pick realizes Tampa Bay is getting a calm and collected quarterback that can seize control of a game.

Even though Davis plays on defense, having Brady under center can make everyone's job easier next season. Just last season, Winston threw 30 interceptions, causing the defense to be on the field more than they would have liked.

Throughout his first 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, Brady's resume speaks for itself. Therefore, Davis knows that he doesn't need to say much when talking about the greatest quarterback of all time.
