Prior to the Buccaneers win over the Falcons, Tom Brady emphasized the importance of the Week 13 game. It was a division opponent, an away game, and the first weekend of December football. Despite the huge win, Brady took little time to celebrate, immediately getting locked in for Week 14.
In his postgame press conference on Sunday, Brady said that their upcoming games are the biggest yet. He explained that he takes the season one game at a time. For right now, he has his eyes set on Week 14 against Buffalo.
The 9-3 Buccaneers will host the 7-5 Bills Sunday afternoon in Tampa Bay. Buffalo had an electric start to the season, but have been inching closer to a below .500 record in recent weeks. Despite their decline, Brady isn't undermining their potential and is determined to keep his foot on the gas.
“They're a great football team…explosive offense, really great defense, really well coached, dynamic quarterback, a lot of really clutch, versatile players in their secondary.” He also recalled that Josh Allen and his team won their division last season, adding to Brady's drive to perform.
And the games just keep getting bigger for Brady. He told the media that the farther they get into the season, the more impact their games have. As for right now, the GOAT's message to his team and the media is focus on the opponent ahead. “9-3, we gotta get to 10-3.”
