After enduring disappointing playoff exits over the last few years, most pundits believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo already has one foot out the door of the Milwaukee Bucks once he becomes a free agent next season.

The back-to-back NBA MVP, however, gave the entire city of Milwaukee something to cheer about on Thursday, by responding to the Bucks' latest social media post.

Before the Greek Freak became the cornerstone of the Wisconsin-based franchise, it was the lethal shooter Michael Redd who put up buckets on the daily in the mid-2000s.

Giannis is certainly capable of producing such scoring feats himself, considering he dropped a career-best 52 markers in a regular-season game against the Philadelphia 76ers last year. He still trails Brandon Jennings and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who recorded 55 points each during their tenure with the team.

Antetokounmpo's re-tweet, on the other hand, is not a guarantee of staying with the franchise by any means. A lot of superstars have made verbal promises in the past (Kyrie Irving's vow to the Boston Celtics comes to mind) only to retract and move someplace else.

Giannis has been heavily rumored to move to the Western Conference to join the Golden State Warriors or jump ship to the Miami Heat.

Still, it's a positive sign for the Bucks when their superstar still has the desire to break some franchise records in the future. Despite Giannis' inability to lead the Bucks out of the East so far, he is still one of the most gifted players in the league today.

For now, Bucks fans can relax a bit knowing Antetokounmpo remains committed to the team.
