The Milwaukee Bucks found a way to get a win over the Portland Trail Blazers after falling 68-52 in the first half. Giannis Antetokounmpo and company turned it around in the second half to secure the win 108-102.

However, Antetokounmpo saw a major problem the Bucks are facing right now and revealed it during the postgame press conference, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic. The Bucks' superstar wants the team to stop getting off to a slow start.

“Giannis Antetokounmpo: ‘Sometimes, we just make it tough on ourselves…We just make it tough. We could start the game like that. We should not be down 26 and then try to win the game. That takes a toll on your body, but I'm happy that we were able to win.'”

He makes a solid point. Had Milwaukee gotten off to a hotter start, they wouldn't have had to force a comeback. It seems to be a trend for this Bucks team as well. Which goes to show how good they are considering they're 12-5 on the season so far.

Luckily, it's a long season and the Bucks can make the necessary adjustments. However, this isn't a problem that's going to solve itself overnight. It's become a trend through 17 games. So, it makes sense for Giannis Antetokounmpo to call it how he sees it now. Milwaukee can now focus on improving their play in the first half of games.

We'll see if they can make that change or not. As the season goes on, going down by 14+ points in the first half will begin to take its toll. So, look for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks to work on improving at the start of games from here on out.
