Through his first four seasons, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo has continued to ascend into becoming most promising star in the NBA.

Along the way, he has already garnered high praise from many of his colleagues across the league. One of which is Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant, who recently stated during a Q&A session for his YouTube video post that he believes Antetekounmpo has the potential to become the greatest player to play in the NBA.

“I like long, athletic guys,” Durant said. “That's just who I am. The Greek Freak I think is a force, and I've never seen anything like him. And his ceiling is probably—he could end up being the best player to ever play if he really wanted to. That's pretty scary to think about. But he's by far my favorite player to watch.”

These are quite lofty expectations set forth by Kevin Durant for the 22-year-old to reach, but he has shown nothing but continued improvement each season. Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off his best year where he averaged 22.9 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.9 blocks per game that earned him his first All-Star Game selection, the Most Improved Player award, and an All-NBA Second Team nod.
He was also the fifth player in NBA history to lead his team in each of those five categories while being the first to place in the top 20 in each of those respective categories in a single season. Antetokounmpo has already developed into a game-changing talent on both ends of the floor that is still several years from reaching his physical prime.

At the very least, if he can build off this elite level of production while also leading the Bucks to a high amount of success, he could easily be elevated into becoming one of the frontrunners for the MVP award next season and for many more years to come down the line.
