Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer says the team will have a better idea in the next three-to-five days of when combo guard Malcolm Brogdon will be back in the lineup.

Brogdon suffered a minor plantar fascia tear in his right foot back on March 15 and has been out ever since. The Bucks are up 3-0 against the Detroit Pistons in the first round of the playoffs. They will face the Boston Celtics in the second round once they eliminate the Pistons.

Brogdon played in 64 games during the regular season before he got hurt. The 2017 Rookie of the Year averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest and shot an efficient 50.5 percent from the field, 42.6 percent from beyond the arc and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line.

The Bucks had the best record in the NBA during the regular season, so they have home-court advantage throughout the postseason. Milwaukee would love to have Brogdon back for the series against the Celtics. Boston swept the Indiana Pacers and is clicking on all cylinders right now.

Brogdon led the league in free-throw shooting during the regular season and was tied for eighth in 3-point percentage. Whenever he gets back, the Bucks will be even more lethal on offense.
