Entering the final year of his three-year contract with Milwaukee, Jason Kidd signed a three-year contract extension with the Bucks reportedly worth $18 million, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Kidd has a 74-90 record in his two seasons as the Bucks’ head coach. The team was able to make the playoffs in his first year, finishing at 41-41. Unfortunately, the team took a step back in the 2015-16 season with a 33-49 record, end the season ranked 12th in the Eastern Conference.

Before his time with the Bucks, Kidd was the head coach for the Brooklyn Nets. While he was only in the position for one year, he was able to help coach the team to a 44-38 record and the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
