The Los Angeles Lakers have put themselves back into the title-contending conversation with LeBron James agreeing to sign a four-year deal with the team. James gives the Lakers that elusive superstar they've been looking for in the post-Kobe Bryant era, and now they can begin to build around their new franchise player.

The question now is what players will follow LeBron to Los Angeles this year and in the years to come. One intriguing player is Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks who many believe could be the best player in the league in the near future. However, the man also known as Greek Freak has no intentions of leaving Milwaukee let alone heading to the Lakers as he made abundantly clear on an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, via Evan Flood of CBS Sports.

Despite Antetokounmpo's apparent loyalty to the Bucks at this point, anything can happen between now and when he can test free agency. The superstar forward will become an unrestricted free agent in 2021, and if his career continues on the path it is going, he'll likely be the most sought-after player on the open market that summer.

Ironically enough, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was without a doubt the best player in the league during his stint with the Bucks, asked Milwaukee to trade him to Los Angeles in 1974. Kareem helped lead Milwaukee to their first and only title while playing alongside Oscar Robertson and then felt it was time for a change three years later.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee, but for the time being, he's content to wear a Bucks uniform.
