The Milwaukee Bucks are in Paris taking on the Charlotte Hornets, and the fans in France love Giannis Antetokounmpo.

While he was at the free-throw line, Giannis got “MVP” chants:

Antetokounmpo is one of the best basketball players in the world and figures to dominate the NBA for years to come. The Bucks star came into Friday averaging 30.0 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.6 assists while shooting 55.4 percent from the floor and 60.6 percent from the free-throw line.

The Bucks lost to the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals in six games. Now that Kawhi Leonard is in the Western Conference, though, many believe Milwaukee has a great shot at winning the East this season. The Bucks entered Friday's game with a 39-6 record, the best mark in the NBA.

Antetokounmpo is making $25,842,697 this season. If he doesn’t sign the supermax extension with the Bucks next summer, he would become an unrestricted free agent in 2021.

Giannis has said multiple times he doesn’t like big-market cities and loves playing in Milwaukee. Wisconsin fans are hoping their MVP stays in town for the rest of his NBA career.

With the Bucks holding the best record in the league, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a really good shot of winning his second straight MVP award.
