Fans of the Milwaukee Bucks love Giannis Antetokounmpo, both for his stellar performance on the court as well as his character and leadership off the hardwood.

Basketball is preparing for its eventual return, but until then, the “Greek Freak” just a man of the people.

Giannis took part in a 1.5-mile march to protest racial injustice and call for equality for Black citizens in America.

The protest–which was hosted by the Bucks–began at the Fistserv Forum and ended at Veterans Park.

Bucks guard Sterling Brown led the protest in chants.

Bucks owner Marc Lasry also joined his players on the march.

Giannis could easily be spotted in the crowd, donning a hat and a mask and marching alongside Bucks fans and the people of Milwaukee.

The Bucks will eventually begin ramping up workouts prior to heading to Orlando, Florida for training camp and the resumption of play as they look to cap off the 2019-20 season with a title.

But for now, Giannis and the Bucks are doing their part to combat social inequities and demand reform.
