DeMar DeRozan put on a show yet again on Saturday night as he led the Chicago Bulls to a tightly-contested victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, 106-101. DeRozan kept his hot streak going and in the process, he once again etched his name in Bulls franchise history along with none other than the GOAT himself, Michael Jordan.

DeRozan erupted for 38 points against the Thunder for his fifth consecutive game with at least 35 points. The only other player in Bulls franchise history to have reached a similar scoring milestone is MJ(h/t ESPN Stats & Info on Twitter):

Needless to say, DeRozan has been cooking of late. There's no denying that he's earned the right to be mentioned in the same breath as MJ — and this isn't the first time, too.

More importantly, the Bulls have been able to get back on the win column with three straight victories. Saturday's triumph over the Thunder was on the second night of a back-to-back set, too, which makes it even more impressive.

Chicago returns to action on Monday against DeRozan's former team in the San Antonio Spurs. The revenge narrative is going to be inevitable and for his part, the four-time All-Star will definitely be looking to keep his hot streak going against his former squad.
