The Chicago Bulls have reportedly hired former Houston Rockets assistant Roy Rogers to join head coach Jim Boylen's staff in the Windy City, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Rogers has agreed to a three-year deal to join the Bulls as an assistant coach. He spent the last three seasons on Mike D'Antoni's staff in Houston. Rogers has also worked with the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards, Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons.

K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune is reporting that Rogers had an “impressive” interview with the Bulls last week. Rogers' three-year deal lines up with the extension that Boylen signed in May.
