Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine is slowly but surely establishing himself as one of the best scorers and shotmakers in the NBA.

LaVine is averaging 23.7 points per game for the Bulls this season and has scored over 40 points three times. Because the 24-year-old is so athletic, LaVine is able to hit a lot of tough shots over defenders, a trait all of the greatest scorers in NBA history have.

When asked by Darnell Mayberry of The Athletic to list some of his favorite tough shotmakers, LaVine listed Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson.

LaVine lists Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson among his most admired tough-shot makers of yesterday. He pointed to J.R. Smith, Gerald Green and Devin Booker as peers he appreciates from afar. Fittingly, five of the aforementioned seven can be classified as explosive leapers. All seven, meanwhile, operate (or operated) with short memories.
