Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine has tied Ben Gordon for second-most 3-pointers in a season by a Bull at 166.

Gordon also holds the franchise record with 173, so LaVine is going to pass him pretty soon:

LaVine entered Tuesday averaging 25.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists. The high-flyer put up 41 points against the Washington Wizards, but the Bulls still lost to Washington by a final score of 126-114. Chicago is now 19-36 on the season. They enter the All-Star break on a six-game losing streak.

LaVine didn’t make the All-Star team, but he’s firmly established himself as one of the best young scorers in the NBA. It's a shame we won't see LaVine in the playoffs. The Bulls need to get more talent around LaVine as soon as possible.
