The Arizona Cardinals still haven’t made up their minds about who to hire as Bruce Arians’ replacement as the team’s head coach. However, they do have two candidates that they like enough that they’re going to interview them again.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak and Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo are both expected to be given second interviews by the Cardinals.

Munchak is now free to talk to Arizona any time now that the Steelers have been knocked out of the playoffs. However, DeFilippo is still alive with the Eagles, which means the Cardinals must wait until next week before they can set up another meeting.

Munchak has been the Steelers’ offensive line coach for the past four years. Prior to that, he spent three seasons as head coach of the Tennessee Titans, compiling a record of 22-26.

As for DeFilippo, 39, he’s spent 11 seasons as an NFL coach, eight of which have been as a quarterbacks coach. He has been credited with the development of Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, who took a tremendous step forward in his second season.

If either one is selected for the Arizona job, he will have a tough task replacing Bruce Arians, who retired following the end of last season. The Cardinals had just one losing season in five years under Arians, who is the winningest coach in Cardinals history with 50 career wins (49-30-1 in the regular season, 1-2 in the postseason).
