With 14 players listed on the Arizona Cardinals Week 11 injury report, the team's bye week could not have come at a better time. The injury-riddled team did receive some encouraging news on Monday as running back Chase Edmonds returned to practice after dealing with a hamstring injury suffered against the San Francisco 49ers.

Although the Cardinals currently sit in last place in the NFC West, their division is without question the best in football, hoping to get an incredible 3 teams into the postseason. While Arizona might not be in contention for a playoff spot, they should be encouraged from what they have seen from their franchise quarterback Kyler Murray.

The rookie signal-caller has been steadily improving every week as he is approaching the 3,000-yard passing mark. During Murray's three-game winning streak he failed to throw a single interception and posted a 67.4 completion percentage. These numbers are encouraging but it is the flashes of Russell Wilson like plays that should get people out of their seats.

Murray's connection to head coach Kliff Kingsbury has also been highly analyzed as the unproven coach stepped into a big role in Phoenix. When the team is able to acquire more talent around Murray and put together an offensive line that can protect the small quarterback, this offense could be dangerous.

Getting Edmonds back hopefully this upcoming Sunday will help them take on a Rams squad that will be on a short week. Arizona must continue to develop Murray and get him comfortable with Kingsbury's system in order for the team to come out firing next season.
