The Arizona Cardinals are looking to get back into the win column against the Carolina Panthers in Week 4. Fortunately, it appears they will be at full strength with wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins in the mix.

Hopkins has been unable to practice this week due to an ankle injury. Regardless, general manager Steve Keim is optimistic about his status for Sunday:

“Hop knows his body better than anybody,” Keim said, via the team’s website. “When you look at his history, the fact of the matter is he just doesn’t miss football games. If I was betting on Hop, I’d bet he’d go, but only he knows his body.”

Although Hopkins playing is hardly set in stone, Keim's comments indicate that the offense will be at full strength. There is certainly good reason for him to be hopeful considering the four-time All-Pro has only missed one game in his entire career due to injury.

Hopkins has been nothing short of spectacular as the league's leading receiver with 32 receptions for 356 yards. His arrival as a safety net for quarterback Kyler Murray in the passing game has clearly paid huge dividends for the offense as a whole. The prospect of him being sidelined against Carolina would undoubtedly deal a crushing blow.

However, the Cardinals will need to closely monitor the risks of having Hopkins play at less than 100 percent with only a quarter of the 2020 NFL season in the books. Any potential setbacks to their star wideout could cost them a shot at keeping up in the competitive NFC West.
