Kyler Murray's future with the Arizona Cardinals is being put under scrutiny this offseason, but the quarterback and his agent Erik Burkhardt want every Cards fan to know that he intends to be with the team for the foreseeable future.

Via Adam Schefter of ESPN:

It could be remembered that the Cardinals' dual-threat signal-caller removed everything Cardinals related from his Instagram account, fueling suspicions that he no longer wants to be in Arizona following a disappointing season.

As laid out in the statement, Murray has already given his proposal for a deal to the Cardinals, though it remains to be seen whether Arizona would offer him an extension. That being said, it seems that a deal is close to happening, with Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill recently expressing the franchise's interest in keeping the former Oklahoma Sooners star for the long term.

Murray has a year left on his current contract and could be franchise-tagged by Arizona in 2023, but that's obviously not what he wants, hence the statement by his agent.

Arizona reached the playoffs in the 2021 NFL season for the first time in years but failed to get past the Wild Card round. Nevertheless, that should give the Cards a nice momentum heading to the 2022 NFL campaign.
