One of the biggest draft night storylines revolves around someone who was drafted last year, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen. If the Cardinals select Kyler Murray with the first pick, there is a good chance that Rosen will be traded and according to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the team has already had trade discussions with the New York Giants and the Miami Dolphins.

According to Schefter, there isn't a trade in place at this point but if the two sides have talked that at least means the two sides know if they are close on getting a deal done and if something can be worked out if Murray were to be drafted.

It was reported earlier this offseason that the Giants could look to make a trade for Rosen if he becomes available, but the Dolphins are a new addition, but it makes a lot of sense because they are also in the market for a quarterback.

They signed Ryan Fitzpatrick, but he is 36 years old and on the downswing of his career. They also have a lot more holes that need to be filled so if they could keep their first round pick and use it on another area of need and then trade a second round pick for Rosen, that could be the way to go.

If the Cardinals decide to draft Joey Bosa or someone else, and not Kyler Murray with the first pick all this speculation will be for nothing because they will be keeping Josh Rosen to be their quarterback of the future.
