Now that the New York Knicks‘ season is officially over, you can't expect to go more than a few days without some “Knick-Drama.”

The Knicks missed out on hiring Tom Thibodeau earlier this week, but the bigger story may involve Carmelo Anthony. According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, the 31-year-old Knicks' star skipped out on Phil Jackson's two-day triangle seminar this week.

It's not exactly known whether or not the seminar was mandatory. According to Isola, one played claimed that Jackson only invited several Knicks.

Anthony reportedly is not happy with the direction of the franchise:

“Carmelo was not happy last week following his meeting with Jackson and isn’t confident with the direction of the franchise. His public pleas for an authentic coaching search have been ignored. That must make Melo feel really important, no?”

The franchise has been in the headlines lately for more bad than good. Jackson is currently being investigated for tampering charges, due to allegedly interviewing Golden State Warriors assistant Luke Walton without permission.

If the seminar was indeed mandatory—Jackson, not Kurt Rambis, coached it—it is a bit troublesome that the leader of the team didn't attend, especially considering the Knicks finished 32-50 this past season.

Not many things are known about the Knicks' future. It isn't known who will be the head coach in 2016-17, and it isn't certain if Anthony will be with the team heading into next season.

In other words, New York will have a lot of patches to fix this offseason.
