The Boston Celtics visit the Cleveland Cavaliers, with small forward Gordon Hayward returning to the scene of the crime.

Last season, Gordon Hayward was forced to the sideline for the rest of the campaign after sustaining a gruesome leg injury during his very first regular season game as a member of the Celtics.

Hayward returned to Quicken Loans Arena for the first time since suffering the now infamous setback. Even so, the veteran forward's outlook on the situation was pretty even-keeled.

“It's something that I was thinking about sitting in the hotel last night, ” said Hayward before they played the Cavs, via Spencer Davies of Basketball Insiders. “Like, last time I was here, my whole world changed. I'll probably think about it, be a little anxious about it at the beginning when I first check in, but then when I get going, I'll be fine.”

While the Celtics have since regained the services of Hayward, it has remained a rocky road for Boston thus far into the 2018-19 season. However, even though they got off to a slow start, the Beantown team has picked up the pace as of late while currently finding themselves in third place in the Eastern Conference standings.

On the other hand, the Cavs have since become one of the worst teams in the entire NBA after the departure of LeBron James.
