Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka recently said star Jaylen Brown could miss a few weeks with a hamstring injury. Udoka gave a more official update on Brown's injury timetable to reporters on Monday, saying he's going to miss one or two weeks.

Brown suffered the injury in the Celtics' victory over the Miami Heat last Thursday. He had 17 points in 29 minutes before leaving the game and not returning.

It has been a rather tumultuous start to the season in Boston, so this Brown absence certainly isn't ideal. While the 25-year-old is putting up great numbers with 25.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game, the Celtics are just 4-6 on the season.

A collapse last week against the Chicago Bulls resulted in Marcus Smart calling out Brown and Jayson Tatum for not passing enough. There was a team meeting after that to hash out the problems, and Boston is still trying to find a rhythm.

Not having Brown around for a little bit here won't help matters. The Celtics also face some tough opponents coming up, with games against the Toronto Raptors and Milwaukee Bucks this week before consecutive road games against the upstart Cleveland Cavaliers. The Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers are on the schedule after that.

Boston will want to be careful with Brown so this injury doesn't linger, but the hope is he's not out too long.
