Jayson Tatum is coming off a breakout campaign in 2020-21, but all signs suggest that the Boston Celtics forward's development is far from being done.

A photo of Tatum made rounds on social media recently, where he was seen with a physique closely resembling former teammate Semi Ojeleye's sculpted body. For the All-Star forward, it's only his body's natural progression. Still, his game is also evolving with help from the masses.

Via Chris Forsberg of NBCS Boston:

“It’s part of me getting older; my body is just starting to change, as well as putting the work in …I know people want to see me go to the basket more. I like the step-back jumper. It’s compromise. I’ll do what the people want.”

While others will cover their ears to suggestions from outside their circle, the Celtics' star is taking all these into consideration. The former Duke Blue Devil is as skilled as any player in the league today. He also has the physical tools to boot.

The Celtics absolutely hit the jackpot despite giving up the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, on their way to landing Tatum at No. 3.

Last season, Jayson Tatum averaged 26.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 46% from the field and 86% at the charity stripe—all career-high marks. He remained deadly from 3-point distance, knocking down 38% of his attempts.

Tatum will be entering the 2021-22 season full of momentum, especially after his gold medal-winning experience with Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics. This only bodes well for the Celtics.
