The basketball world was buzzing after Boston Celtics superstar baptized Giannis Antetokounmpo in the second quarter of their Game 3 matchup on Saturday night. Tatum got the and-1 over the Bucks talisman on an eye-popping fastbreak dunk and according to renowned broadcaster Skip Bayless, Giannis should have been thrown out for his foul.

Bayless was not at all pleased with how Giannis hit Tatum with his elbow during the play. It appears that Skip believes Antetokounmpo put the Celtics star at risk with his foul, the same way Dillon Brooks did to Gary Payton II in the Grizzlies-Warriors series:

“THROW GIANNIS OUT. SUSPEND HIM A GAME. WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE IS WHAT HE JUST DID TO JTATUM (WHO HURT HIS LEFT WRIST/HAND ON THE FALL) AND WHAT DILLON BROOKS DID??? GIANNIS BLASTED TATUM IN THE FACE WITH HIS ELBOW! OH, THAT'S RIGHT, GIANNIS IS A SUPERSTAR AND BROOKS IS BROOKS,” Bayless wrote in his tweet.

Here's a look at the play in question wherein Celtics star Jayson Tatum went flying to the first row after Giannis' hard foul:

Quite a hot take from Skip Bayless here. We all know how Brooks' dangerous foul ended up injuring Payton, and in his mind, Giannis' antics were no different here. Bayless also implied that the fact that he's one of the biggest superstars in the league is the only reason why Antetokounmpo was not ejected for his foul on the Celtics superstar.

The Bucks came away with a huge win in this one, 103-101, to push the series to 2-1 in their favor.
