Kemba Walker's health has been a major storyline throughout the 2020-21 campaign It's a good thing this appears to be minor and won't cost the point guard any more time. Sunday marked Walker's 39th game of the season.

The Celtics entered Sunday's game with a 32-28 record, but they struggled mightily in the first half against a shorthanded Hornets team that's also battling for playoff position. Charlotte made 12 3-pointers in the first half and led by as many as 19 points before settling on an 11-point advantage at the break.

Walker had 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting in the first half. He started to get going after he returned from the locker room. The guard entered play Sunday with averages of 18.2 points, 5.0 assists and 3.9 rebounds. He's only shooting 40.9% from the field and 34.9% on 3-pointers.

Boston could really use a healthy and effective Kemba Walker the rest of this season in order to make another deep playoff run. It has been an uneven season for the Celtics, but there's talent in place to go far in the playoffs.
