A lot of people were stunned, surprised, and disappointed when University of Central Florida product Tacko Fall went undrafted this year, despite a lot of scouts predicting that he'd be going in the late first to the early second round of the NBA Draft. Fortunately, it wasn't long before one team decided to give him a chance, as Fall signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Boston Celtics.

He joined the Celtics' Summer League team and to his surprise, he has received loud cheers from Las Vegas fans every time he stepped into the court. He immediately became a fan favorite because of how inspiring his NBA journey has been.

In an interview with UNLV's Mark Anderson, Fall hearing the fans' cheers meant a lot to him because to him, it's a testament that his efforts are paying off.

“I anticipated it, but not at that level. It was a little overwhelming. It meant a lot. The love that they kept showing just showed that my work wasn't going unnoticed.”

Fall, a 7'6 behemoth has shown a lot of potential on both ends of the floor during his brief time with the Celtics in the Summer League. Videos of his ferocious dunks and massive blocks have been making waves on social media, and fans are extremely excited to see what else he can do for Boston when the regular season begins.

Of course, there is no guarantee that Fall can make the Celtics' main roster despite his impressive showing in the Summer League. He will have to continue to work hard in training camp in order for him to have a legitimate shot in Boston.

But Fall understands this already, and he will put in the work necessary in order for him to finally live his dream.
