The Boston Celtics are the talk of the NBA world at the moment thanks to their 16-game winning streak. Winning 15 or more games in a row in the NBA is quite an achievement, and one that Celtics players should be all too excited to bring up any time they can.

However, the Celtics have been careful not to bring the subject of the streak up whenever their head coach Brad Stevens is around as Terry Rozier revealed via ESPN’s Chris Forsberg.

“We don't talk about [the streak],” Rozier started, before a smile appeared and he slightly amended his statement. “When [Stevens is] not around we do.”

While their winning streak is certainly an impressive feat, Stevens is likely not too eager to let the early-season success get into his team’s heads. It’s still way too early for the Celtics to start believing in their own hype and they still have more things to prove moving forward.

Having said that, though, it has to be hard for the players not to get caught up in the streak. It’s not every day that teams go on such an extended stretch of success and they can't help but try to enjoy it while it lasts.
