The Boston Celtics have agreed to a two-way deal with guard Walt Lemon Jr., according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Lemon played five games in Summer League for the New Orleans Pelicans last season, getting most of his run with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League, starting 40 games for them in 2017-18.

Lemon posted 22.4 points, 6.1 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 2.0 steals per game through his stint in the G League, quickly becoming one of the best scoring guards of the league.

A shifty, creative scorer with a knack for attacking the basket and getting in transition, Lemon will have to make major improvements in his jump shooting in hopes to crack the Celtics' 15-man roster, making only 30.9 percent of his shots from deep last season.
